Hows the lunar new year?
I had mine.
Pretty much the same as previous years.
The usual steamboat lunch in the eve.
then dinner at the uncle's place.
the first day of chinese new year was spent shuttling between my uncle's place and my mum's bro condo.
The second day was spent having lunch with mum's friends and my sister popped by.
Had dinner at uncle big's place.
Today, i spent the first half of the day at home. then traveled to serangoon north. Both of us decided to go kite flying.
We actually bought two kites some time back from queensway shopping centre. We bought a doraemon kite and a huge goldfish kite.
We happily went to marina barrage once again to do some kite flying. Its a cloudy and windy day today.
We happily un-wrapped doraemon and started fixing it.
And then a huge gust of wind came. Uncle big broke my doraemon kite's rod. ZZzzz... Doraemon kite decided to resign even before it started flying.
I wasnt really upset as we still had another kite to play with. Then we happily un-wrap our goldfish kite and let it fly up high into the sky.

Its so fun.....
We invested quite alot in our kites. Bought better strings and reels for our kites. We were hoping for the best kite experience. However, everything was short-lived. Didnt have much luck in kites. =X=X=X=X
Goldfish kite's rod broke too near the end of the day. Zzzz...How sad can this be.... but at least i had a chance to fly it.
Now its time for us to source for places to repair our kites. What that was broken were the rods. As long as we fix the rods, doraemon n goldfish can fly again. I decided to get another kite as spare. ZZzzzz...
Its better to get a spare kite..=x And theres a possibility of losing your kite. So if you have a spare, u wont feel too much frustration when one of your kites decides to break free.
Im not a kite flying professional..But every failed kite experience is a learning curve. LOLX...One day we will be able to fly kites without losing any kites. =x=x=x
U can always jio me for kite flying these days after i repair doraemon n goldfish.
My idol's book finally arrived before the lunar new year. Been reading it every night before i go to bed. Just wana finish it up ASAP. Since i already bought it and i have the time, i would wish to finish it up quickly.
In future, if i really had to study, i wont even have a chance to read anything. My work load is getting heavier each passing day as well. All the more i shd cherish my free time. But no matter how time pressed, i would always steal time to watch my anime bleach and yu le bai ..
Heres my idol in the yu le bai CNY edition. LOLX. he wore a huge suit and dressed like an ah pek. lolx.
