Its the national day weekend now.. On this coming monday, Singapore will be 45 years old already....
When i was a kid, i truly love national day celebrations.. Not only the school gives us only half days.. we get to "celebrate" without doing any concrete work.. everyone will be on holiday mood...we get those tiny singapore flags..we wave it high...we wave it low..everyone is hyped up.. we finish off the half day with some performances and sing a long...

As i grow older..national day doesnt seem to signify much except its another public holiday... Gone were the celebrations.. Gone were the days we swing our national mini flag around.. i remember that i used to buy this mini singapore flag that comes with chocolate sweets inside the tube holding the flag.... Im not very patriotic to be exact.. =X not that i dont love singapore... Apart from the influx of foreigners, transport squeeze, transport hikes and this and that..im actually quite grateful that i live in a safe country...

Many years after i left school...i finally celebrated national day .. this time..its with my students.. i kinda enjoyed it... for full 3 hours..its nothing but playing and food.... we sung the national day songs..waved our flags... feast on our goodies... Its been many donkey years since i last sang a national day song.. so friday was quite memorable...

speaking of school.. i worked 11.5 days straight.. yeaps... since two weeks ago.. i was bz with my school.. then i had to work over the wkend..i nearly died.. i was suffering from some allergy (according to the doc).. chiong a damn busy saturday...survived a damn boring dinner on a sunday.. i totally died out..i slept for 12 hours on a friday night... hahaha...

The only small bonus that i have during that 11.5 days work week was the parrots gathering that i went to on a sunday afternoon... played with other birds... got bitten by my un-grateful noco...till now the wound hasnt healed... got bitten by a lory.. aww... not a very smooth week huh?? i think i suffer more than sweetness...

i went to the doctor twice for two different illness... one healed..another came.. i think its purely over-exhaustion bahx.... i was really given any MCs as its not that vicious flu...and anyways... its near 12am.. so i guess its time to turn in....
