My long wkend is quite well spent..... I spent the entire friday afternoon with the MOPA group. We brought noco for another outing.. Its quite fun... We met a new friend too. She is cherri and her Electus Parrot is called Bentley.
Pictures will come later... Uncle big still editing them..... Shall blog about the outing soon...
Yesterday, we went to bugis street to pray.. It was guan yin dan. Then we went over to serangoon north to get noco's food. I really love serangoon north's good will bird shop.. They always hve rare parrots on display. Please note..its only for display.. ahahahha... Those gorgeous birds that can easily cost you tens of thousands of dollars...
Dont even try to think of stealing any one of those birds.. they all come with tags and microchip... Besides..they all have their own distinctive calls that you can even hear a few blocks away... So its quite easy to get caught when u ever steal one...
They have a very rare black palm cockatoo in their shop. Black Palm cockatoos are near extinction. They are rarely seen in habitats. However, there have been breeders around the world trying very hard to breed these cockatoos. Their breeding habits and lost of natural habitats are perhaps the reason why they are depleting bahx. How to survive when u only produce one egg every 2 years huh?
Tat pretty black palm cockatoo has been there for a month or so... Yesterday, the shop owner actually took it out to show it to a potential buyer. Tat parrot is amazingly tame.. I got to stroke ti.. im sooo happpy.. its feathers soo sooo soft...
The pic below is a pic of a black palm cockatoo.. very beautiful.. You dont even see it at jurong bird park...
In the evening we headed off to a bday party and we had dinner at tbp.. i wonder wat we be doing today..
