Just another so short wkend... how i wish my wkends are LONGER.. Ytrday is like a nua day... went to serangoon..then to the city sq mall...home.. out for dinner.. back home againx..

today.. we all went to bugis for prayers... then lunch..some shopping..home again..blah blah blah.. its the usual wkend affair... and my mum bought something from bugis street .. its a potted plant...

Take a look at the picture below.. do u find anything unusual??
Apart from those fancy CNY decorations sprouting on the branches, i bet that you cant find anything special about this plant... If you take a closer look at the plant.. you will realise that theres some weird looking thingy growing out from the flower petals... This weird looking thingy looks like a bird.. Heres some closer up pics..


Amazing?? It did amuse me... Some pple called it the "xiao niao shu" or little bird tree.. I do not know the exact name... But its sooooo cute! Not cheap tho... this potted plant costs 48 dollars.. And the seller kept saying tat these plants are LUCKY.. hmmm... sounds like some marketing gimmick to me.... netherless, mum fell for it..... As long as anything goes like fa cai or xing yun or fa da cai or super lucky, it will sell well...

Heres some updated pics of my noco... turning yellow already.. noco learnt to say his name and the word "kua kua jiao".
