His story....

He is an ah beng.... Didnt complete his ITE education... He has been with his gf for 3 yrs..since secondary school... He was 2 yrs older than girl..However... girl didnt complete her o levels... She stopped schooling.. her parents cited that she was ill....The school accepted it... girl slowly accepted that she is not fit to go to school....

Little known to him that his gf has a mental condition..... under pressure and stress.... his gf tends to forget reality and live in her own world....He just thought that she is just physically ill... But what puzzled him was... she is just like any normal 16 or 17 yr old young teen.. She seems soo normal..except the fact that she has been on medication for years.... which he had no idea what it is..and girl doesnt know whats the medicine for..she only knows that it is for her own health condition..

After a year of dating and curious about her illness.... he decided to formally meet her parents... Hoping to know more about her illness....Finall he met up with her family...parents and her brother... Needless to say..being an ah beng..and lowly educated.... her parents looked down on him and didnt want their daughter to continue dating him.. They declined to reveal their daughter's mental condition.. and shooed him out of the house..much to his suprise and girl's. Her brohter kept quiet throughout.... Girl got really upset that night....

Girl didnt contact him for a week ever since.... worried and nervous.... he waited at her void deck day n night hoping to see her.... When she finally appeared.. he rushed up to her side... She appeared shock towards his behaviour towards her... She told him to go away and that she didnt know him at all.. Initially... he thought that girl was just putting on a show.. He pressed on.. But she refused to acknowledge him..and started to ccry for help.... Upon the sight of passer-byers, he ran off......

Worried...upset and anxious about girl... ah beng couldnt sleep nor eat.... he waited at her void deck once again... holding the couple bear which she had given to him on his birthday... holding the neoprints and neo-cards tat they took together some time back.... He waited n waited for days..till she appeared once again.... At first terrifed to see him...she slowly calmed down after his numerous reassurance that he meant no harm... He showed her their neoprints n the couple bear... She cant remember them at all... he said that he is her bf... held her hand up and told her to examine the ring she was wearing and his.... she carefully looked at the rings...both of their rings beared her name n his... Somehow girl was finally convinced that they are bf and gf..She somehow felt that he was someone she knew of.. but she cant remember their love...To his delight..She agreed to hang out with him..

They got back togehter..once again... though he was still puzzled by her behaviour... he tried not to ask her about it..as whenever he brought tat subject up... she gets a severe headache... after a few weeks of sweet love.. her parents found out about their relationship.. once again...forbid hteir daughter from meeting him.... ah beng waited for weeks at her void deck..she didnt appear... Her parents ignored him whenever they bump into him...as well as her brother..

Finally after a long persistence....her brother spoke to him.... he told him about her mental condition and that she has been seeing a psychiatrist since she was 12... When everything came to light...he finally understood her behaviour n reactions towards him.. her brother was quite touched by his love... he agreed to allow him to contact her..however..he doesnt want them to meet...

everyday... ah beng send a neoprint of their happy times and sweet poems to her through snail mail... in hope that she will remember him and they can be together once again...... for months... she didnt reply his mail..............

after 4 months..she finally replied to him... she said she is very touched by his love towards her... she believed that they were once together... she wished to remember what had happened..but she cant.... she asked for a meet up.....

during tat last meetup he had with her.... her brother accompanied her....She started to questioned what exactly happened when ah beng told her that it was her parents who forbid hteir love..she just kept crying..and crying.... Her brother told ah beng to give up on their love....and said that she will soon be joining him in Australia to pursue her studies..

ah beng sat there in a daze as girl n her brother left... the girl whom he loved soo much ...just had to leave him this way....even though she couldnt remember his love...he was soo willing to help her remember it and build a new relationship with her.. but he just couldnt have the chance...

quite along story i have...this actually happened to ah beng fren of mine... whom i lost contact of.. i was there to listen to his sad love story.. and i was there to give some comfort as a fren.... I suddenly remembered of him..after watching tat 4.30 drama... Quite a sad love story huh?

he somehow disappeared from my life after tat meet up.. he changed his hp... our common friends lost contact with him as well... not long after... i stopped hanging out with the ah beng n ah lian group as well.....
