Purrrrr---fect companion

i read the weekend today and spotted quite an intersting article.. Its about the trend of professionals ( those high flyers) having pets as companions.. These people fall into the category whereby they dont have any time for themselves. 7 days a week was used up by work. They hardly had the time to relax and hang out in any social events like family gatherings and wat nots. Most of them are in their early 30s. All of them has a pet whom they come home to everyday....

It was also cited from this group of pple that pets actually make great companions. Being in relationships..u need to put in more effort, time and as well as money. And sometimes their work schedules dont really allow them to really date...

Some even felt tat a pet's love n loyalty definitely surpass love n loyalty from a bf/gf..

Well.. my thoughts are.... sometimes work isnt everything.... these pple sound like they have no life at all... Yesh..i do agree that pets does give some therapeutic benefits.. but sometimes we just need someone next to you... as in.. u cant expect a dog or a cat to give u advises on your career or problems...And u think u should just lock urself into a world of you , yourself and your job..... i feel tat this may increase the chances of getting mental illnesses...
