Forever love?

Bing shared with me a story about someone. A wonderful girl with a great career on track n a ever loving bf contacted Lupus (its a kind of illness tat have no cure). Gravely ill. She had to quit her job. She has to be put on medication for the rest of her life. Her kidney n liver badly damaged. After the discovery of illness and the lost of the job, her bf left her saying that he doesnt love her enough to accept her illness. He also cited his mother's objections about them together. tats right after his mother learnt about her illness.

How sad can that be? When she needed you the most, you left her.

I wonder how many lovers out there can go thru disasters together.

Theres nothing right or wrong here. Standing in his shoes, it could be a gd choice as he is still young and will not be burdened. Can still find another girl. Standing in her shoes, she badly needs someone to be there for her. Note that her family are not in sg n she cant contact her frens as she lost her hp. And he chose to be a bad guy by dumping her.

Perhaps its due to our own individual expectations about our other half. Some cant tolerate their other half to flirt n bed girls. Some cant tolerate a guy who arent down to earth. Some dont want a bf who is a druggie or a smoker. Could it be in his case tat he didnt wan a sick gf?

Anyway..i wish the girl all the best. she is leaving sg already. Things will get better...

Love hate relationship with my lovie

How nice. We have spent hte past 3 yrs together. She is still the usual snappy grumpy spoilt brat lovie. Nothing has changed. She is still the same. A happy lil bird who loves company yet like to get bitey. Ive tried disciplining her. Just a gentle reminder to myself. I am a terrible owner. Im too scared of her to discipline her. Her bites are no joke one.

Her usual irritating behaviour still consists of food wastage and deafening morning calls. To feed or not to feed? Feed too much. She plays with her food. Feed little. She gives u a pathetic face.

Eccentric character. She DOESNT like anyone to move her toys off their position. Even if u take it out to clean, u have to put it at the exact spot where u taken it. If not, she will be sooo uncomfortable that she will squeak the whole day. kns bird. theres once i threw her super old ladder, she got so upset for quite a few days. In short, she cant adapt to changes.

Lovies live up to 30 yrs of age. But a kept bird may live up to 15 only. She is arnd 5 yrs old now. So 10 yrs more i guess. If i were to move out within this 10 yrs, i wonder if she can tahan the new changes. anyways..till the time comes...then i decide...

though i complain alot abt her, the sight of her still warms my heart. she is cute la. =X

anyway..planning ot get another bird.. =X
